Description

In accordance with RFO FAR 5.101, this is a notification of a proposed sole-source contract action to Aviat U.S., Inc. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to solicit and award on a sole source basis under the authority of RFO FAR 12.102(a) to Aviat U.S., Inc. at 200C Parker Drive, Suite 100A Austin, Texas 78728. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) – only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency

requirements. Aviat Care WarrantyPlus Product provides manufacturer’s authorized (24/7) upper tier web-based and telephonic technical support to Coast Guard field engineers and manufacturer-approved expedited depot-level component repair for two (2) products; Aviat Pro-Vision Network Monitoring System and Fujitsu Flashwave 4100 SONET multiplexers. Only Aviat can provide the repair of this equipment. Aviat has the exact components to repair the broken modules and depot test equipment and supporting test procedures to ensure that the repairs make the system 100% operational. For the Coast Guard to duplicate this function, significant resources would be needed to hire and train personnel to support the equipment. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Interested vendors may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified

point of contact no later than (NLT) 1:00PM ET on Friday,

7 August 2026. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The notice of intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to the Contract Specialist, Avery Cole, Email: [email protected], and the

Contracting Officer, Mark Rushing, Email: [email protected] with the referenced in the subject line. Avery L. Cole Alternative
