Veterans Affairs Single Source Solicitation for BD Alaris Maintenance Services

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting , intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Sole-Source contract to CareFusion Solutions, LLC. The Orlando Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) has a request for software management services for the Alaris Infusion System server and software components. The justification for this non-competitive solicitation is due to CareFusion LLC, not authorizing any entity access to their proprietary software and technology. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541519 Other Computer Related Services with $34.0 million. The Sole source services include internet, webinar and on-site training and clinical education; support ranging from remote monitoring of the Alaris Systems Manager to technical support for the Alaris Infusion System; and includes collection of data and providing analytics tools and services.
