Description

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM), intends to procure seven (7) Class II biosafety cabinets to replace existing laboratory units that are no longer adequate for safe laboratory operations. This is a new requirement. The acquisition includes one (1) six-foot biosafety cabinet and six (6) four-foot biosafety cabinets that meet the minimum technical

requirements identified in the solicitation, including compliance with NSF/ANSI 49 performance standards. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, shipping, inside delivery, warranty documentation, and all other resources necessary to furnish the required biosafety cabinets. Delivery shall be completed within 60 days after award to the FDA Center for Veterinary Medicine, Laurel, Maryland. The biosafety cabinets shall be new, commercially available products and include a minimum 60-month manufacturer's warranty covering parts and labor beginning upon final Government acceptance.
