The Department of the Interior on Behalf of the National Park Service - Philadelphia Major Acquisition Business Office (MABO) has a requirement for Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania National Military Park (FRSP) for the painting and repair of the Chancellorsville Battlefield Above-Ground Potable Water Tower, located in Spotsylvania, VA.GENERAL: This is a NEW requirement. This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE only and does not constitute a solicitation; accordingly, no response is due at this time. No

questions nor phone call will be accepted about this pre-solicitation notice. All

questions and phone calls will be addressed after the solicitation is posted through official amendments. Specific instructions on submitting proposals will be contained in the solicitation documents. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued sometime on or after July 13, 2026! scope of work includes: Contractor shall provide all material, labor, and equipment required to perform work that consists of removing rust, pitting, scale, and sediment from the exterior and interior of the approximately 25,000 gallon above ground water tank that is approximately 90 ft in height as measured from the ground. All work on the interior of the water tank must be compliant with American Water Works Association (AWWA), National Sanitation Foundation (NSF), OSHA and State of Virigina Health
