Verify on SAM.govThe U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) manages over 300 projects across the country with many assets. One of the most abundant assets is our paved road and parking lot infrastructure. Current estimates have USACE managing approximately 5,407 miles of paved roadways, and 8,517 parking lots, many of which are paved. The
objective of this work is for the contractor to analyze rate pavement distress according to the provided USACE modified Pavement Surface Evaluation and Rating (PASER) rating criteria. The contractor will be tasked by USACE to rate the individual segments via the photos provided. The contractor shall develop and utilize an excel spreadsheet which shows the rating applied to each segment. The spreadsheet should show each segment rating for each distress listed below associated with that type of asset (road or parking lot), as well as each segment’s overall rating. For each segment with an overall segment rating lower than a “B”, a general recommendation for improving the segment will be provided. For example, but not limited to, “mill and overlay”, “general maintenance”, “full rebuild” etc.… as well as a rough preliminary cost estimate for each segment’s repair. Kate Behrens Alternative
