Solicitation number 15B10126Q00000012 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Prison Camp Alderson, intends to issue a solicitation for the following requirement: FPC Alderson requires the reconditioning of: One (1) 100,000-gallon elevated water storage tank (leg or pedestal style) – interior and exterior – and one (1) 400,000-gallon ground water storage tank – interior and exterior. The contractor shall furnish all necessary equipment, tools, labor, materials, supervision and warranties necessary to recondition the water tanks. The reconditioning shall comply with all Federal, state, and local regulations, codes, and standards, including the latest editions of the International Building Code, NFPA, Life Safety Code, OSHA, American Correctional Association Standards, and other relevant regulations. Manufacturers’ recommendations will be required to be implemented. The contractor [& any subcontractors, if applicable] must be reputable, holding valid and current contracting licenses. If required, personnel must provide certification or documented proof of experience, demonstrating competency in executing the project. Proof must be provided to the
Contracting Officer (CO) or COR upon request. The
scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks as seen in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed-price contract. Award will be made to the responsible vendor whose quotation conforms to the solicitation and is determined to be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA).
