The Department of Homeland Security is procuring an extension of Test and Evaluation Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance services to support the Science and Technology Directorate's Test and Evaluation Division. This requirement is a modification to an existing Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate (DHS S&T) task order for (OTE) Test and Evaluation Division (TED) Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support. The task-order supports S&T’s OTE TED with expert–level program management support, OTE Director program support, T&E mission area program support, T&E policy and workforce development support, and Research and Development (R&D) support that add value to TED’s mission. The program is currently planning a recompete of its support needs and extension of the current support will prevent a gap in service while the requirement is finalized and acquisition planning, solicitation, and award of the recompete is completed.
