Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC), is conducting market research to identify vendors capable of removing and replacing the in-operative Dock Warehouse Garage Door and repairing the damaged Taylor Street Dock Door at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and other resources necessary to perform the required services. This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 238290 - Other Building Equipment Contractors and its small business size standard is $22 million in average annual receipts. The Government is requesting that Small Businesses, including VetCert-certified VOSB or SDVOSB sources respond if it can meet the description and Statement of Work (SOW) below: Contractor will provide all tools, parts, material, labor, supervision, test equipment, technical manuals, maintenance, programming, and transportation necessary to provide Warehouse Door Replacement and Repair Services at the Jessie Brown VAMC at 820 S. Damen Ave Chicago, IL USA. Capability Statement Submission: Interested vendors shall submit a capabilities statement that provides clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that your company can meet the

requirements outlined in this source sought. The capabilities statement shall include: Organization name, address, UEI number, Point of , Business size under NAICS 238290, Socioeconomic status, and evidence of experience relevant to the required services. Capability statements must be submitted no later than [Wednesday, July 9, 2026 @ 12:00 PM CST]. Responses shall be submitted via email to [email protected]. The Government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated.
