Contracting Officer will make an acquisition strategy determination based on the results of this market survey. The work shall take place at Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway, Trego, WI. A summary of the work follows:The required work includes replacing the sanitary sewer and septic system from the Namekagon Visitor Center southwest to the new drain field. Demolition of the existing system will include the abandonment of the 5 existing septic tanks/cisterns and demo of any other existing components necessary for installation of the new system. The new septic tanks, lift station, and drain field shall be constructed outside of the existing system to allow for use of the existing system with minimal interruptions for cross over connections. The new sanitary sewer should be a 4-6” diameter PVC or HDPE for the gravity portion and 1.5”-2” diameter HDPE for the force main section. New septic tank will be installed and sized to meet State and County design
requirements. New lift station will be required to distribute the wastewater to the new drain field. Lift station shall be a dual pump lift station with stainless steel components, integral wet well, and safety hatch. Drain field will be designed to meet State and County
requirements pending the results of the septic test pits by a certified septic installer.The work of this contract includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete all contract
