Disposal of the dredged material will be at an EPA approved ocean disposal site (LA-2). POLB design channel depths are - 76 ft MLLW, and LARE channel depths are as deep as - 25 ft MLLW.
Period of Performance/Calendar Days- The total Contract Performance period is 130 Calendar Days after reciept of notice to proceed Procurement: Competitive Type of Contract: Firm-Fixed Price Estimated Construction magnitude is Between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 The official Invitation for Bid (IFB) is anticipated to be issued July 13 2026 Revision via Contract Opportunities at Sam.gov and inviiting firms to register electronically to recieve a copy of the soliciation when it is issued. Revision Tentative bid opening date is set for August 13 2026 SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM) REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT: Offerors shall have and shall maintain an active registration in the SAM database at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for a Government contract award. If the Offeror is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity shall have valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity. If at the time of award an Offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective Offeror. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO CHECK THE DESIGNATED GOVERNMENT POINT OF ENTRY- SAM.GOV - FREQUENTLY FOR ANY AMENDMENTS OR CHANGES TO THE SOLICITATION.
