Description

The vendor shall provide Alarm installation and maintenance services: One quote, for service provider owned alarm systems completely provided and maintained from the service provider; or One quote, for service provider owned communications modules to be installed in existing AES 5100 and 6100 systems. (This communications module must be able to communicate with service providers monitoring center. Provision of Central Alarm Monitoring System (CAMS) Monitoring Services. This is defined as an alarm system that also makes the intrusion known at another location by means of an automatic telephone dialer, wired connection or by radio transmission to a central monitoring location. CAMS must be monitored 24/7 and have a 24/7 dedicated response, i.e. Local Guard Mobile Patrol or a commercial security response company. The response service does not need to be armed with firearms. RFQ# 19MA1026Q0006 is modify to include the following: Housekeeping and Restoration: The contractor shall: Patch, repair, and repaint all areas affected by the work (including walls, ceilings, trim, and door/window frames) so that surfaces match existing finishes and colors as closely as practicable. Ensure that no unused holes, openings, or exposed wiring remain and that all penetrations are properly sealed to maintain the integrity of the structure and security envelope. Remove any obsolete equipment, unused cabling, debris, and packaging, dispose of it in accordance with local regulations; no debris will be left on site. Clean up daily at the end of working hours. Trash may not be accumulated on site and must be removed from the site daily and disposed of properly and legally at a landfill, government‑regulated dump, or recycling center. Conduct a final walkthrough with Post security and facilities staff to verify proper operation/installation, cleanliness of work areas, and satisfactory restoration of all affected surfaces. This is applicable to both: Option 1: Communication and monitoring of existing alarm system Option 2: Removal of existing alarm system and installation of new alarm system”.
