Repair of 5-Ton Electric Arc Furnace

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and market research purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Furthermore, the Government is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondees are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Sources Sought Notice; all costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the interested party’s expense. The Contractor shall be responsible for the successful repair and continued maintenance of the Lectromelt 5-Ton EAF, IAW attachment 0001 RIPD 5-Ton Repair. Capability & Experience: A brief narrative describing your company’s capability to repair and maintain Lectromelt Electric Arc Furnaces (specifically 5-Ton models). Proof of prior history and ability to meet the strict 48-hour on-site response requirement at Rock Island Arsenal, IL.
