The U.S. Government is procuring Parachute Packer Services for the US Army Parachute Team (USAPT) to support their public affairs, recruiting, and marketing missions. The contractor will provide FAA-certified parachute packing and rigger support, maintaining a workforce of certified parachute riggers, and must be located within 25 nautical miles of Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
The contractor will provide parachute packing and rigger support services, including maintaining and servicing parachute systems and supporting high-tempo travel for demonstrations and competitions.
This is a Sources Sought Notice ONLY. The U.S. Government to procure Parachute Packer Services for US Army Parachute Team (USAPT). The services will support the Tandem and Competition Teams at various locations across the Continental United States (CONUS) to enable the Army's public affairs, recruiting, and marketing missions. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract with a
period of performance consisting of a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, commencing in Fiscal Year 2026. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform FAA-certified parachute packing and rigger support. Key tasks include, but are not limited to: Packing of personnel, student, and tandem parachute systems. Maintaining, servicing, and repairing parachute and ancillary equipment in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and Army Regulation (AR) 750-32. Providing support for high-tempo, short-notice travel to demonstrations, competitions, and training events throughout CONUS. Maintaining a workforce of FAA Senior or Master certified parachute riggers with demonstrated experience on military-specific tandem and competition parachute systems. The facility must belocated within a 25-nautical mile radius of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, to enable efficient integration with daily trainign schedules. Submission
