Contracting Office, aboard Marine Corps Base Camp (MCB) Lejeune, North Carolina requires Substance Abuse Control Officer Management Services to provide the government administrative, logistical, and technical support services to the II Marine Expiditionary Force Support Battalion (II MSB) uniformed, appointed Substance Abuse Control Officer. II Marine Expeditionary Force Support Battalion’s (II MSB) mission is to provide and coordinate combat service support, security and administrative services to the Marine Expeditionary Force Command Element (MEF CE) or Marine Expeditionary Brigade Command Element (MEB CE) and MIG HQTRS in order to sustain command and control of MAGTF operations. The Marine Corps Substance Abuse Program (SAP) is designed to maximize operational readiness and personnel health through the prevention, identification, and treatment of substance misuse. At the unit level, the Substance Abuse Control Officer (SACO) is the commander’s primary advisor and executor of this program, principally responsible for prevention training, managing urinalysis and alcohol screening programs, and facilitating treatment referrals. It is the Government’s intention to issue a firm fixed price contract in accordance with FAR part 12. The associated North American Industrial System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541990 All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services. This will be an unrestricted solicitation. The Government will solicit and award this contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. The Government intends to award to the quoter who provides the Best Value to the Government. Award will be issued on an all or none basis. The solicitation No. M6700126Q0066 will be posted on or about 1 days after this posting and made available on the Contract Opportunities web site at www.SAM.gov. It is the responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments.
