This is a combined for commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 – Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Products and Commercial Services, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is conducted using FAR Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures in conjunction with FAR Part 12 – Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-06, effective October 1, 2025. NAICS AND PSC NAICS Code: 812210 – Funeral Homes and Funeral Services Size Standard: $13.0 Million (PSC): G001 – Social Care of Remains and/or Funeral Competition: Full and Open Competition

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE Base Year: April 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027 Option Year 1: April 1, 2027 – March 31, 2028 Option Year 2: April 1, 2028 – March 31, 2029 Option Year 3: April 1, 2029 – March 31, 2030 Options may be exercised in accordance with FAR 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract.

CONTRACT TYPE The Government anticipates award of a Firm-Fixed-Price contract resulting from this solicitation. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Clinical Center, Patient Support Services Department (PSSD), requires on-call mortuary support services to ensure the dignified, timely, and secure removal and transportation of decedents from the NIH Clinical Center and other NIH-controlled Bethesda campus locations to a Government-authorized destination such as the (OCME) or other designated receiving facility. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM) Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in accordance with FAR 52.204-7 prior to award and maintain registration throughout contract performance.
