Scattered Site Well Drilling Project CA22-D46 /75H70326B00003 Pala, California ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Indian Health Service (IHS) is soliciting sealed bids for a firm-fixed-price construction contract for the following project: SCATTERED SITE WELL DRILLING PROJECT CA22-D46 /75H70326B00003 Work includes drilling a 6-inch nominal diameter individual water well to an approximate depth of 400 feet, installation of casing and screen, placement of filter pack and grout seal, well development, test pumping, water quality testing, and installation of a submersible pump and associated components. Work also includes mobilization, site preparation, and all incidental work required to provide a complete and operational water system. The

period of performance is 70 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement will be conducted using Invitation for Bids (IFB) procedures in accordance with FAR Part 14. Award will be made to the responsible bidder whose bid is responsive and offers the lowest price. A bid guarantee, performance bond, and payment bond will be required. Review of Contract Documents Bidders are responsible for reviewing all contract documents, including drawings and specifications, prior to submitting a bid. Failure to do so will not relieve the Contractor of responsibility for completing the work as required. 3. Bid Guarantee A bid guarantee is required with the bid. Failure to provide the required bid guarantee may result in the bid being rejected as nonresponsive. 4.
