Questions and Answers along with pictures of the cabins. The purpose of this amendment is to extend the response date to 29 May due to Q&A responses. Q&A responses will be posted to allow for additional information for offerors to submit their best offer. If you have already submitted a quote, the offeror will have until the response date to adjust the offer at anytime. If no adjustment is necessary, then the quote received will be evaluated. This is a combined for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format outlined in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAC 2005-87 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The resultant contract will be awarded using negotiated procedures in accordance with FAR 13. This is a total small business set aside in accordance with FAR 19-502-2. The National Park Service, Interior Region 2, South Atlantic Gulf has a requirement to repair chinking and staining of three cabins located throughout Blue Ridge Parkway. All Quotes should include power wash, prep, logs/siding and trim, Remove all loose, cracked, or deteriorated chinking, Clean log surfaces with compressed air and vacuum debris, Replace Chinking with a compatible synthetic system (e.g., Sashco Log Jam or approved equal), Apply new log stain per manufacturers instructions, two coats minimum allowing proper curing time between coats, Clean and prepare all window and door trim surfaces, Stain window and door trim at each cabin (each cabin has 4 windows and 2 doors, total: 12 windows and 6 doors), Remove all masking, staging, and surplus materials and Restore staging areas to original condition.The solicitation number assigned to this requirement is 140P5126Q0018. The solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract to the offeror that provides the best value withoutdiscussions in accordance with FAR 13.
