Description

The purpose of this contract is to provide engineering, planning, management, labor, material and facilities, as required, to accomplish LPD 30 and LPD 31 Fitting Out Availability (FOA), Post Shakedown Availability (PSA), and any emergent work resulting during Post Delivery Test and Trials (PDTT) and shakedown periods. The FOA is intended to complete fitting out and to correct design related deficiencies and complete system installations to support ship PDTT period. The PSA is intended to correct deficiencies and accomplish system and equipment upgrades identified during ship PDTT and shakedown periods including Final Contract Trials. All work will be accomplished in accordance with the most current fiscal year NAVSEA Standard Items pertaining to the FY of the applicable vessel availability period start date.
