Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Precision Strike Weapons Program Office (PMA-201), intends to negotiate and award a modification under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0001921G0006 Delivery Order (DO) N0001923F0412 on a sole source basis to The Boeing Company, 6200 James S McDonnell Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63134-1939. The modification will provide additional quantities for Defective Seeker Repairs and Defective Sustainer Section Repairs. Contract award is anticipated for 4th quarter FY26. Small businesses interested in subcontracting possibilities may contact Chasity Strickland ([email protected]), Boeing. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Please copy NAVAIR on any capability statements provided to Boeing to the attention of Elizabeth Lawlin ([email protected]). This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency

requirements. The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the Harpoon/SLAM-ER Weapon System and its related equipment. The Boeing Company alone has the technical data, experience, requisite knowledge, technical expertise, special skills and facilities required to provide the supplies and services anticipated under this order. The Boeing Company is the sole owner of technical data for Harpoon/SLAM-ER and therefore is the only responsible source that can meet the Government's requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the effort mentioned above.
