Description

This Sources Sought notice is issued solely for market research and planning purposes. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Invitation for Bid (IFB), or Request for Quotation (RFQ). Responses will be used for planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment by NEXCOM to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparing a response NEXCOM anticipates requiring a Contractor to provide all professional architectural and engineering (A/E) design services, labor, supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, permits, construction, testing, commissioning, training, and closeout documentation necessary to renovate five Navy Gateway Inns & Suites (NGIS) lodging buildings located at Misawa Air Base, Japan. The project consists of the design and construction required to provide HVAC systems with new high-efficiency, multi-split direct expansion (DX) electric heat pump systems serving lodging guestrooms and associated support spaces.
