Description

UPDATE - AMENDMENT 0001 (July 2,

2026) The purpose of this amendment to solicitation N6660426R0200 is to: 1. Incorporate stepladder

pricing into Section B. 2. Update the required CMMC level in DFARS clauses 252.204-7021 and 252.204-7025. All changes are detailed in the attached SF-30 document. END OF UPDATE The Department of the Navy, Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, is issuing solicitation N6660426R0200 for the procurement of MK48 Heavyweight Torpedo Sources and Sensors. This solicitation is being issued on a sole-source basis to SyQwest LLC. (CAGE Code

33642) under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. § 4022 (Authority of the Department of Defense to carry out certain prototype projects - Follow-on Production Contracts or Transactions). This action is a follow-on production effort resulting from SyQwest’s successful completion of a prototype project under an Other Transaction Authority (OTA) agreement, which included successful prototype delivery and updates to the Technical Data Package (TDP). The Government requires the production and delivery of sources and sensors that meet the exact form, fit, and function necessary for the MK48 Heavyweight Torpedo system. Notice to Interested Parties: This notice is published for informational purposes and is not a request for competitive proposals. The solicitation and associated

attachments are being provided directly to SyQwest. However, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may submit a capability statement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for future

requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All inquiries and responses to this notice must be submitted via email to the primary and secondary points of contact by the deadline specified in the solicitation. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Margaret Echard Alternative
