Requirements: The following are criteria that eliminate buildings from consideration for new space: The , in a shared multistory building, is on or below the first floor. The , in a shared multistory building, is on the top floor and rooftop access is located within the Government’s space. The building houses immigration, probation, public defenders and/or social services offices and does not have a separate entrance, elevator and parking facility for Government personnel and visitors. The building houses daycare facilities, abortion clinics, mental health clinics and/or drug rehabilitation clinics. There is public parking underneath or within the building and/or there is metered or public parking directly in front, behind or next to the building (as determined by the LCO). The building is less than 1,000 feet from schools, hospitals, prisons, abortion clinics, mental health clinics and/or day care facilities. The building resides in a crime statistical area that is 10 times greater than the National average. Secured parking for Government official vehicles, either onsite or adjacent to the building site is not available (as determined by the LCO). Offered space must meet Government
requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100-year flood plain.
