Description

The facility located at the USDA Subtropical Horticulture Research Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Station has approximately 6,000 square feet of lab and .

The ductwork is collecting condensation and causing water damage.

The HVAC system consists of one air-cooled chiller, associated pumps, and two variable air volume air handling units.

The humidity in the labs was tested and determined to be higher than the acceptable range (70% or higher).

A&E firm Clark Nexsen provided retro commissioning with TAB services and proposed solutions for the condensation problem, as well as designs for the renovation of the roof, HVAC, BAS, and chiller.
