The 413th CSB is seeking capability information from interested vendors for a potential nrequirement to provide design-build services to accomplish the Generator Modernization project at Fort Shafter, HI. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, supervision and non-personal services necessary to perform the tasks detailed in Part 5 “Specific Tasks” of this PWS. The Contractor shall be responsible for all necessary permit applications to relevant Garrison and commercial parties to accomplish these Tasks. This project shall involve the design and construction of a reinforced concrete pad, and the electrical installation required for the backup power system. This project shall involve the disconnection of four government owned generators, installation, and commissioning of two 750 kW backup power generators along with associated electrical infrastructure at Fort Shafter, Hawaii. Additionally, the project shall include transporting and positioning four generators to designated locations. The contractor will design and construct a reinforced concrete pad, install paralleling gear, ATS and integrate the generators into the existing power infrastructure of Buildings 520 and 525. In addition, the contractor shall conduct system testing, commissioning, and carrying out demolition and decommissioning activities as necessary. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with military and industry standards while coordinating with relevant Army units and DPW to facilitate smooth execution and project closeout.
