Description

Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Georgetown, Guyana will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The U.S. Embassy Georgetown requires a contractor to provide food and beverage catering services for the 2026 Independence Day Celebration, to be held on July 2, 2026, at the Four Points by Sheraton Georgetown. The event will serve approximately 500 guests. The contractor shall provide cocktail-style food service consisting of six (6) bite-sized pieces per person (five savory, one sweet), suitable for standing service, and all required beverage service (including bar stations for Embassy-donated beer, wine, soft drinks, and water). The contractor will provide all personnel, supervision, equipment, materials, glassware, utensils, and supplies necessary for setup, service, and breakdown. The contractor must also cover all corkage fees for Embassy-provided beverages and include all costs for a menu tasting event. All services must comply with local health regulations and U.S. Embassy standards. The anticipated performance period is for a single event on July 2, 2026. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.
