The requested radios will provide essential communications during emergency situations. It is anticipated that the contracttype will be Firm Fixed-Price. The L3Harris AN/PRC-160(V) Radio Assembly is the market’s only standalone solution for Beyond-Line-Of-Sight communications in the absence of satellite. In addition, this wideband system is also the only High Frequency manpack meeting all National Security Agency crypto-modernization standards. The AN/PRC-160(V) is the only 4G Automatic Link Establishment system that combines the level of security, data performance, and combined High Frequency (HF) and Very High Frequency (VHF) capability in a small light-weight portabledesign where space, mobility and protection of system function is a priority.
