questions and responses, updated wage determination, and amended drawings Amendment 0004- Time Extension Amendment 0003- Adding newly required clause Amendment 0002- Time Extension Amendment 0001- Update Changes Clause Solicitation The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) is issuing solicitation 15BBNF26Q00000050 for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Replace Cooling Towers at the Federal Detention Center (FDC Houston), located in Houston, TX. FDC Houston is a federal correctional facility located at 1200 Texas Avenue, Houston, TX 77002. The project consists of the following: Provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, permits, and incidentals to remove and replace two (2) existing rooftop cooling towers with new units of equal or greater capacity. New cooling towers shall be supplied with enhanced corrosion protection. All manufacturers’ recommendations shall be followed during the installation of the new towers. See the Statement of Work/Specifications attachment included with the solicitation posting for the complete

requirements of the work. The performance period for the project will be 107 Calendar Days from issuance of the notice to proceed. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238220 with a corresponding small business size standard of $19 million. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the Contract Opportunity website at https://www.sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be made available. The website provides download instructions. The "Sensitive /Secure package Upload" option will be selected for this procurement.
