questions Question #1 Please provide detail for any equipment that is currently not operating properly or is off-line that requires immediate attention. Answer #1 None at this time. Â Question #2 Please confirm that the VA is responsible for all non-consumable maintenance items (i.e. pumps, motors, spare parts, etc.) and the bidder is responsible for just the consumable items, such as oil and grease? Answer #2 The contractor shall supply all necessary supervision, labor, supplies, materials, equipment, tools and incidentals to compete the work. Question #3 The Scope Of Services on page 5 of 59 states All emergency repair(s) and/or services will be treated as a stand-alone service request independent from planned corrective maintenance work and will require prior approval from the

Contracting Officer (CO). Should we assume that emergency repairs will not need to be completed during the emergency visit but will need to be quoted and repaired at a later date? Answer #3 The Northport VA Medical Center may request emergency repair(s) and/or services as needed and require prior approval from the

Contracting Officer. Question #4 The Scope Of Services on page 12 of 59 states The contractor will keep sufficient types and quantities of materials and stock on hand to ensure practical, economical and continuous service. This includes an inventory of spare and repair parts and equipment. Is the contractor required to have the inventory of spare parts and equipment on site Day 1? If so, please provide a list of the required spare parts and equipment so they can be priced and included in our proposal Answer #4 The contractor should keep the common, routine materials and parts for your trade in stock and available, i.e. basic tools and accessories that are routinely needed to perform the trade.  The overall intent is to ensure the contractor can perform work without delays caused by waiting for standard tools or commonly used materials. The Northport VA Medical Center does not provide onsite storage facilities. Question #5  Section F Annual Inspection(s) Tank Evaluations (page 8 of
