This solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside, but quotes from Federal Prison Industries may be accepted per Alternate I of FAR clause 52.219-6. The NAICS code is 337214 and the size standard is 1,100 employees. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference, and full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov/far-overhaul and acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/class_deviations.html. This action will result in a firm-fixed price (FFP) purchase order to the quoter providing the most advantageous quote to the Government. The Government will select the most advantageous quote, considering price, technical, and past performance. The Government has provided the description of current conditions as well as layouts, but it acknowledges that these items may not be 100% accurate, in that some items may have been moved from their previous placement. It is highly recommended that any interested vendor attend the site visit to fully comprehend the project’s existing site conditions, layout, and finishes. A reconfiguration using existing parts to the maximum extent is requested due to budgetary limitations. Quotes which replace the existing system in its entirety will be considered. This effort is a high priority requirement in support of the National Guard. Funds are not presently available to make award. If funds become available for award, and prices are deemed fair and reasonable, it is the Government’s intent to make award. This is not a commitment of funds or contract award.
