Description

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions. SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory invites interested vendors to submit a proposal in accordance with the attached RFP preparation

requirements for TID QCM - Machining a 4-Quadrant Accelerator. Any clarification requests are due by Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Your full proposal must be received no later than Tuesday, March 17, 2026, 5pm PST and be valid for 90 days after submission. SLAC has a requirement for the following: Attached RFP_36325(MC)_TID_QCM The award will be made based upon the attached Lowest Price Technically Acceptable method. NOTE: The following documents are attached in this solicitation. RFP_36325(MC)_TID_QCM Must complete and return all documentation mentioned on the cover letter. Amendment No. 01 is being issued: Incorporate the attached, "Attachment L-3, Offeror's Request for Clarifications," dated 3/3/2026, as a result of clarifications requested by one of the Prospective Vendors. Line Item 1 provides the question and response to this clarification. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged. RFP Due Date remains the same, Tuesday, March 17, 2026, 5:00 PM PST. Amendment No. 02 is being issued: Incorporate the attached, "Attachment L-3, Offeror's Request for Clarifications," dated 3/6/2026, as a result of clarifications requested by one of the Prospective Vendors.
