The Broad Institute is uniquely positioned to perform this requirement due to its prior sequencing of this specific cohort and use of established sequencing and bioinformatics pipelines aligned with existing datasets. Use of another vendor would introduce data variability, require reprocessing or validation of prior datasets, and pose unacceptable technical and programmatic risk.
