The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) is procuring Enterprise Network Support Services (ENSS) Bridge 2 to provide security and compliance support services during the transition to the Department of Defense Network (DoDNet) initiative. This contract serves as a follow-on to existing orders and aims to centralize IT services across the Department of Defense.
The work involves providing security and compliance support services as part of the ENSS Bridge 2 contract, facilitating the transition to the DoDNet initiative.
This is an exception to fair opportunity issued to bridge the time between the expiration of Contract/Order HC102818D0001/HC104725F0001 and the migration of these
requirements to the Department of Defense Network (DoDNet) initiative. The DoDNet initiative is led by DISA to centralize Department of Defense (DoD) common-use information technology (IT) from disparate Defense Agency and Field Activity (DAFA) architectures to a single service provider (SSP) architecture. This was directed by the Deputy Secretary of Defense in an August 15, 2019, memorandum, titled “Fourth Estate Network Optimization Execution Guidance”. DCMA’s common-use IT is currently supported under the ENSS requirement; however, it is among the disparate DAFA architectures which are being converged to DoDNet’s SSP architecture.
