The Franklin R Sousley Campus, 2250 Leestown Rd, Lexington, KY 40511 has a requirement for Project 596-4-1 Boiler replacement. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment and material for replacement of high efficiency stainless steel condensing hot water boilers in buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, 16 ,25, 28, 201 and 202 (201 and 202 must be propane dual fuel capable) along with necessary ancillary equipment, contractor is to dispose of or recycle all waste, spoils, or excess. At no time between September 1 and May 1 can any building s hot water heating loop remain out of service for more than 4 consecutive hours. All work performed shall be conducted in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws, regulations, codes, VA policies/regulations, specifications, drawings and the SOW. PRODUCT/SERVICE CODE: Y1DA Construction of Hospitals and Infirmaries This will be a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C. section 8127(d). NAICS Code 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. The small business size standard is $19M. The estimated range of construction is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. This requirement will be procured per Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation (RFO) Overhaul Part 15, as a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process.
