Description

The purpose of Amendment 001 is to incorporate Government responses to Offeror

questions. As a result, Attachment 5 - Government Responses to

Questions is incorporated. The Trapper Creek Job Corps Center has identified the need for asbestos remediation in mechanical and storage rooms in dormitory buildings 10, 11, 12, 13 after a site inspection finding of asbestos tile underneath the current carpet tiles. After remediation, new resilient vinyl sheet flooring is to be installed. To fully access the floor, the existing water heaters and furnace units will have to be uninstalled prior to removal and reinstalled after the new flooring has been laid. The need for mold remediation has also been identified in building 11 (dorm 2). The plumbing leaks that caused the mold issue have already been addressed and the wall opened up, but remediation in the wall, on the floor, and in the crawlspace is still required. After remediation new gypsum board also needs to be installed, finished, and painted; and new carpet tiles laid in area where flooring is to be removed for remediation. This project is at the Trapper Creek Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center, located 75 miles south of Missoula, MT in Ravalli County. The address is 5139 West Fork Road, Darby, MT 59829. Driving instructions can be obtained from the Center by calling (406) 821-3286. For additional information, Offeror's should review the solicitation and
