This is a Sources Sought Notice Only for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) a component of the Department of the Treasury that designs, engraves, and prints U.S. banknote currency and other U.S. security products.

This IS NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, requests for bids or quotations, nor a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. The purpose of this Request for Information is to obtain knowledge and information for project planning purposes only. NAICS: 561210 – Facilities Support Services : – U099 – Education/Training - Other BEP is seeking firing range training facility space for BEP WCF Police Services Branch to conduct the firearms portion of Annual Police In-Service, Basic Training Program (PBTP) and Quarterly Qualification classes. Training Space should include two indoor ranges to provide for simultaneous training with different weapon systems. Range capability should be fully automated with a dedicated control booth for each area and consist of a ten lane – 50-yard tactical training range and five lanes – 100-yard range. Range capability should provide movable – running man target. The ballistic catchment system should be capable of containing a 308-caliber round. Facility Space should include: Firing Ranges (50 Yard – 100 Yard Range Capability) Firing Range Classroom Fully Equipped Weapons Cleaning Room The training location must be within 15 miles of the BEP Western Currency Facility, Fort Worth, Texas.
