This Sources Sought does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals or Request for Quotations, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue an order or otherwise pay for the information solicited, nor is it a guarantee of a forthcoming solicitation or contract. It is for market research purposes only. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. requirements are subject to change prior to the release of any solicitation.Specifications:The USGS Conte Research Laboratory located in Turners Falls, MA has a need for an ongoing requirement for liquid propane gas to be delivered via automatic fill-up 4-6 times a year to fill up propane tanks. The average yearly usage is 18-20K gallons, though that amount varies greatly depending on the severity of the winter, and some years the usage has been as high as 30K gallons.There is a main bridge to access the site that has weight limits such as 20 T, 25 T, and 36 T so smaller bobtail trucks might be used to fill up the propane tank(s). More information is provided in the attached statement of work such as photos of the bridges and weight limits. You will also be required to provide your small business status information either via the On-line Representations and Certifications also located at the SAM.gov website before an award to your company can be made.
