Please continue to monitor SAM.gov for this update and any additional information as it becomes available. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Maintenance and Repair– HEATED SALT BATH FURNACE RFQ No. N6852026Q1006 This is a combined conducted in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 to solicit a competitive commercial award for a firm fixed price (FFP) commercial service contract for repair and inspection of Upton Internally Heated Salt Bath Furnace, (Model U-DS / UDJ6A, Serial Number DS-2976), PSC Code: J036 - Maint/Repair/Rebuild Of Equipment- Special Industry Machinery, NAICS Code: 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair and Maintenance, to heat treat various aircraft components. The

place of performance will be located at Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE), Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida. Quotations are being requested. An award, if any, will be made to the responsible offeror who submits a quotation that conforms to the

requirements of N6852025Q1006 RFQ and the Evaluation Factors as follows: Factor 1 – Price: Price will be evaluated based on the total combined price, for reasonableness in accordance with FAR 13.106-3. Award will be made to the offeror providing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Factor 2 – Technical Acceptability: Technical Acceptability will be evaluated on an Acceptable/Unacceptable basis. To be rated Acceptable, the Offeror must provide: Conforms to the

requirements of N6852025Q1006 RFQ and Complies with the

requirements and terms and conditions stated in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Government reserves the right to award without discussions or make no award at all depending upon (1) the quality of quotations received and (2) whether proposed prices are determined to be fair and reasonable. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. Offerors shall complete and include in quotations all representations and certifications, as well as all fill-in provisions and clauses, contained within this RFQ.
