Description

The West Virginia National Guard is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for Excavating and Gravel work. The applicable North American Industry System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 238910 Site Preparation Contractors size standard of $19.0M. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project to include interested sources. This notice is for planning purposes only and all interested parties should repond. West Virginia intends to issue a solicitation and award a contract. The proposed work on this project consists of excavation and gravel work consisting of compacting gravel, dirt, spreading new gravel, and creating a pedestrian walkway. The contractor shall supply labor, equipment, and materials (including gravel) needed to complete earth moving

requirements. The contractor shall supply equipment needed to grade multiple gravel pads, compaction of gravel and spread new gravel on gravel pad. The contractor shall supply equipment needed to construct a pedestrian walkway. The contractor shall supply equipment needed to move 30 tons of 6-inch rip rap stone (already on site) to an alternate location. All firms or interested parties responding must be registered with the System for Award Managment (SAM). This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include the following: (1) Postive statement of Intent, (2) Completed and signed Sources Sought Infromation Request Form, (3) a listing of projects completed during the past three (3) years both from the government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value and contract number, location and

point of contact are to be included. Indicate if you are a prime or subcontractor or previously either one. If you were a subcontractor provide the name and

point of contact for the prime contractor and (4) brief ouling of resources, subcontractors, and

key personnel that would be used to accomphlised the contract. Ensure to respond with your company's small business category. Information shall be provided via email to: [email protected].
