Requirements. 173rd Mission Support Contracting intends to award a sole source contract for Air Force Repair Enhancement Program (AFREP) Services for Cabin Pressure Indicator NSN 6685-01-668-2966. 173 MSC intends to make an award to MERCURY MISSION SYSTEMS LLC (CAGE 096Y5). The justification for the sole source
requirements is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), as there is only one Source of Approved in accordance with DAFI 21-101_ANGSUP. A sole source solicitation should be made which will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract.In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), the proposed contract action is for a service for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(b)(ii). This notice of intent to award is not a request for competitive proposals; however, responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation that shall be considered by the agency. The Government is not obligated to award, and will not pay for, any information received from potential sources because of this notice of intent. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
