Description

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) intends to modify purchase order 9523ZY26P0005 with Kastle Systems LLC for operations and maintenance of the Kastle Systems LLC physical security system in CFTC’s Washington, DC office. The purpose of the modification is to incorporate monthly operations and maintenance of recent equipment upgrades used to change the functionality of the turnstiles in the agency’s headquarters lobby, as well as enhanced security of doors. Kastle Systems LLC is the sole proprietor of the system and does not permit any other company to provide maintenance and operations services for the equipment. The Government intends to procure this requirement under the authority of 41 U.S.C. § 1901, as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR 12.102(a) per the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul. The services required by CFTC are available from only one responsible source and no other alternative solution will satisfy the needs of the agency. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS nor a solicitation of offers. However, the Government will consider written responses from all responsible sources received by 3:00 p.m. ET on March 9, 2026. Written responses must include sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirement. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of market research for future
