R-102 GALLEY FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM USCGC ALDER
Background. This requirement is for the contractor to clean the galley hood and inspection of R-102 Galley Fire Suppression System. Scope. The Contractor shall provide all personnel including services, labor, materials, travel, parts, tools, test equipment, test fittings, supplies, consumables, and equipment to accomplish tasking. The Contractor shall provide the services of a qualified Tech Rep, who is familiar with the R-102 Galley Fire Suppression System system/equipment, to accomplish all tasking. The Tech Rep will be responsible for the following: Advise on manufacturer's proprietary information pertinent to the system. Assist with proper repair methods and ensure compliance with manufacturer's procedures and standards during disassembly, inspection, repair, modification, calibration, and reassembly of the equipment/system. Exhaust Hood: The interior and exterior surfaces of the hood will be cleaned to bare metal. This includes the plenum, the area behind the filters. Grease Filters: Filters will be removed, cleaned, and reinstalled. Damaged or worn filters should be reported to the client for replacement. Ductwork: All accessible ductwork, both horizontal and vertical, will be cleaned to remove all grease buildup. Condensate Drains: All condensate drains and collection points will be cleared of obstructions and cleaned to ensure proper drainage.
Objective. The
objective of this requirement is to complete annual maintenance on the system Tasks. The contractor shall provide labor and maintenance services IAW TP 3924-555-A, R-102 Restaurant Fire Suppression System, TP 4563B-555-A, Fire Suppression System-Model R-102, TP 7427-651-A, R-102 Restaurant Fire Suppression System, TP 8057-555-A, Range Hood Fire Fighting System R-102-1T-4N-6F, to include but not limited to: 4.1. Clean 4.2. Inspect 4.3 Service 4.4 Repair 4.5 Certified Delivery. Contractor shall provide a final report within 3 days of contract
period of performance. Government furnished property. None. Contractor will provide tools, expendables, and consumables. Security Requirement. Base access is required. Vendor shall have a valid driver’s license and show identification. A CG representative from the cutter will sponsor and escort vendor to the cutter.
