Description

The Contractor must provide all plant, labor, equipment, transportation, and tools required to complete a full replacement of the backup generator system serving the Radar site, B2021 at Columbus AFB. This replacement shall include, but not be limited to, the generator, fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel pump, day tank, automatic transfer switch (ATS), electric heater in generator room, sensors controlling the heater and ventilation, and exhaust system. The criticality of this system will require power and redundant power for the duration of the work. For the same reason this generator has unique

requirements, such as a preheat system and the ability to start and take the load in 15 seconds. The specifications of the existing generator system shall be attached for reference. The new generator system shall match or exceed the capabilities of the existing system.
