Description

The Directorate of Public Works (DPW) is seeking an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Liquefied Petroleum (LP) Gas utility services heating and operational needs on the installation.z. These services will be delivered monthly to storage tanks located throughout Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield in Georgia. Description: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, and other items necessary to delivery LP Gas into storage tanks located at Fort Stewart (FS), Georgia, to include the Garrison/Cantonment, ranges, and outlying areas, in accordance with commercial industry practice. The Contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. "The Contractor shall perform all operations--including but not limited to the installation, maintenance, testing, purging, and bulk delivery of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LP-Gas)--in strict accordance with the most recent edition of NFPA 58 (Liquefied Petroleum Gas Code), or the version mandated by the local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), whichever is more stringent." Requirements This liquefied petroleum (LP) Gas will be used for heating and operational needs on the installation. The Contractor is responsible for maintaining an automatic delivery schedule for LP Gas at FS, ensuring that the fuel level in each tank does not drop below twenty percent (20%).
