Description

Statement of Requirement Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials (except for government-furnished property identified in 4.0 Government Furnished), supervision, transportation, equipment, supplies, and perform all work necessary for timber stand improvement removal in accordance with the specifications, provisions, and clauses of this solicitation and any resultant contract. This work involves the felling of trees to pre-commercial thinning (PCT) thin dense timber stands to increase the growth of the remaining trees. All the cut trees will be left on site. This project will allow the remaining trees to grow faster and increase the wood value for timber production. Vendors are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED to attend the Site Visit. Wednesday, April 1, 2026, 10:00 am-1: 00 PM CST. Monongahela National Forest - Greenbrier Ranger District , WV A Pre-quote project showing will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2026, 10:00 am-1: 00 PM CST beginning at the Monongahela National Forest - Greenbrier Ranger District Office, 7409 Staunton Parkersburg Turnpike, Bartow, WV 24920 Interested parties are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed regarding the general and local conditions that may affect the cost of the contract performance. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
