Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Ankara, Türkiye will publicize the solicitation on the SAM.gov website once it is available. The U.S. Embassy Ankara anticipates issuing a solicitation for the acquisition of Apple iPhone smartphones (brand name or equal) for official U.S. Government use at Mission Türkiye. Devices must be legally imported into Türkiye and comply with all Turkish legal and regulatory

requirements, including International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) registration with the Bilgi Teknolojileri ve İletişim Kurumu (BTK — Information and Communication Technologies Authority of Türkiye). The Government will accept exclusively devices imported by Apple Türkiye, registered with BTK, and covered by an Apple Türkiye manufacturer warranty for a minimum of two (2) years or better. All devices must be new, original Apple equipment; refurbished, remanufactured, grey-market, or otherwise unauthorized products will not be considered. Delivery will be required to Embassy Ankara. Full technical specifications and submission instructions will be provided in the forthcoming Request for Quotations (RFQ). The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for commercial products using FAR Part 12 in conjunction with FAR Part 13 procedures. No quotation shall be submitted in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. Please note that the response date in this synopsis is not final; the actual deadline will be specified in the forthcoming RFQ. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed-price purchase order/contract to the responsible quoter whose quotation conforms to the RFQ and is lowest priced technically acceptable. The Government may make award based on initial quotations without requesting quotation revisions. A pre-quotation conference is not planned.
