Network Support Services for IT Telecommunications

for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice: This is a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.215-3 – Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes (OCT 1997). It constitutes neither a Request for Proposal nor an Invitation for Bid. It does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This RFI/Sources Sought Notice IS NOT A SOLICITATION or an expression of intent to issue a solicitation of any kind in the future. It should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than to gain the information requested. Interested parties are encouraged to respond to this RFI/Sources Sought Notice. The Government will not pay for information, materials, and/or demonstrations received in response and is in no way obligated to respondents by or for any information received. REQUIREMENT: This is a non-personal services contract to provide maintenance and technical support services for all BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc. d/b/a AT&T Southeast (herein after referred to as AT&T) telecommunications cabling infrastructure at NASP Complex, Pensacola, Florida previously referred to as CESL-177. The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The anticipated

contract type is a Firm, Fixed Price. The purpose of this contract is to provide maintenance support to telecommunications voice and data circuits beyond the established demarcation sites. Contract scope includes resolving troubles, and providing repairs and maintenance services for the base telecommunications cabling infrastructure The applicable North American Industry System (NAICS) for this requirement is 517111 – Wired Telecommunication (PSC) is DG01- IT and Telecom. Again, THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This is a market research tool. The input provided will help the Navy ascertain the interest, capability, and capacity of potential businesses both small and large.
