Description

Title: Northern California Area Office (NCAO) Fire Extinguisher and CO2 ServicesThis is a Sources-Sought announcement for acquisition planning purposes. No formal solicitation for this work exists currently. This notice is being issued to help determine the availability of qualified small businesses technically capable of meeting the Government

requirements and determining the method of acquisition, including whether a small business socio-economic set-aside is possible. All eligible and qualified contractors may submit capability statements for consideration. Capability statements received will be reviewed to determine the quantity and availability of small business contractors who have the experience, technical level of expertise, administration, and management capability to perform the effort described below. The capability statements received will be used to determine the overall procurement strategy. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, supplies, and tools necessary to perform services to conduct Fire Extinguisher and CO2 Services. The tasks included in this planned requirement are as follows:> Portable Fire Extinguisher (PFE) Annual Inspections> PFE Maintenance (involving internal inspection)> PFE Hydro Testing> PFE On-Call Services> CO2 Cylinders – Semi-Annual Weight Inspection> CO2 Cylinders – Transportation, Filling and Hydrostatic Testing> CO2 Cylinders – On-Call ServicesThe North American Industry System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 541990 – All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services. The small business size standard for this NAICS code is $19.5 Million.
