Description

The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting a technically acceptable offer at the lowest price. The purpose of this firm fixed price purchase order is to provide commercial kennel facilities and services in support of the Bureau of Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Toronto Preclearance Port of Entry. The service will be required for two (2) canine dogs. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supervision, facilities required to provide kenneling services for the CBP canines. The number of canines to be kenneled is currently two (2). The facility will need to have at the capability of providing the possibility of future kennel needs meeting the same high standards as set forth in this document. The contractor shall issue a key or key card for the kennel facility to the CBPO/K9 Officer assigned to the Port of Toronto to enable the Officer the ability to independently access the facility and retrieve their canines 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The contractor shall ensure that only authorized personnel have access to the CBP dogs. Access to the CBP dogs by the general public is prohibited at all times, If the facility is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, a key will not be required. In addition to housing the canines, the contractor will also be responsible for cleaning the kennels and maintaining them in a safe and sanitary condition.
