Description

The proposed action is for renovation and/or reconstructing portions of an existing facility and the

Scope of Work is included in specification section 01 11 00 Summary of Work. The work includes but is not limited to, demolition of existing features to include stoops, siding, pavement, doors, etc; civil site work to include grading, asphalt paving, erosion control and utility installation; concrete placement, Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU) repair, door installations, window and louver screen repair, electrical and mechanical system installation, as prescribed in the solicitation documents. The work shall include all direct and indirect costs including profit, risk and contingency to perform the scopes of work included in this solicitation. Any areas utilized by the contractor within the DoD property shall be in the original or improved condition as determined by the

Contracting Officer upon completion of the work. The Contractor will be required to commence work upon receipt of contract award and complete the work 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, this is subject to change after solicitation issuance. Site Visit (only include if applicable): A Site Visit will be scheduled and additional information regarding the site visit will be provided in the solicitation via FAR Clause 52.236-27 and will be posted on SAM.gov. Estimated Construction Costs: The estimated construction cost of this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. NAICS Code: The Primary North American Industry System (NAICS) code anticipated for solicitation is 237990 –Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a size standard for Small Business of $45M.
