This announcement constitutes an official Request for Information (RFI) as defined by FAR 15.201(E). No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.

This is a sources sought notice. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors and to determine whether to set aside the requirement for a small business concern(s). The Naval Submarine Base New London in Groton, Connecticut is seeking qualified companies to provide cranes and miscellaneous weight handling equipment and services for both long and intermittent short terms as described in the Performance Work Statement and associated

attachments. Long term is defined as up to one year per option period. Short term is defined as weekly to monthly increments per piece of equipment. Please refer to the attached Draft Statement of Work and ELIN sheet to gain a full understanding of the contract specs and

requirements. The work will be accomplished under a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Non-Reoccurring/Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option periods. Estimated contract start date of May 2026. Sources sought include small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled small business, HUBZone small business, small-disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business concerns. The North American Industry System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors with a Small Business Size Standard of $19,000,000.
